MV LOGOS HOPE to leave CEBU PORT, after a month of captivating BOOKLOVERS’ HEARTS

Logos Hope docks at  Cebu Port-Pier 1IMG_4007 MV Logos Hope, world’s largest floating book fair will leave Cebu Port  on Friday– May 29, after a month of luring booklovers at its berthing area located  at Pier 1 – Malacanang of the South.

    Carrying some 400 volunteers emanating from 45 nations, to share some 5000 book titles covering arts, cookery, hobbies, languages, medicine, philosophy, science, sports, religion, and travel info, the project is run by German Charity GBA (Good Books for All) and sold at reasonable rates.

    Logos Hope’s last visit to Cebu was 2012 which captured some 115,000+ guests.  Its next ports of call will be Subic Bay and La Union.

    Staying on board at the floating bookstore is great bonding time, as family members peruse, watch interactive displays/movies, meet crew members and partake yummy preps at the International Café, situated at the end of the display/reading deck. A taste of African, American, European and Asian flavors await guests

    Since it started circling the globe in 1970, some 44 million guests from over 150 countries have walked its deck and shared its bounty.

    Hurry ! You still have two (2) days  to catch up and go over those atlases, dictionaries, various academic materials, hobby/craft items.  Boarding time is from 10 AM to 9:30 PM.

    Entrance is P20 per pax but kids below 13 and senior citizens enter for free.
